in the Narrative Tradition
What we do
Scholarship Program for prospective Enneagram teachers
EANT is an international association for people who have studied and are studying the Enneagram in the Narrative Tradition and who use it in business, educational, therapeutic, personal development and spiritual arenas.
Our mission is to take the Enneagram to the world, with strong ethical standards, using the" Narrative Tradition," where learning is shared by people of the nine Enneagram types speak for themselves to describe their inner states of motivations and awareness. This learning is then carried forth to the integration of spiritual and psychological work for self-development.
We intend to create a strong, diverse, international community that facilitates members’ ongoing learning and development.
We began as a grassroots effort, founded by Janet Levine in 1993, in cooperation with Helen Palmer and David Daniels, M.D., to support participants and graduates of the Enneagram Professional Training Program. Formerly named "The Association of Enneagram Teachers," the first annual international conference was held in 1996. Now broadening its membership based to include those studying the Enneagram through Narrative methods, the association was designated as a nonprofit corporation in 2000, and now has more than 400 members worldwide. See history.
Thanks to many volunteers who generously contribute their time, talents, expertise and financial resources, EANT provides numerous benefits at a minimal cost to members. For only $60 annually, members also receive an electronic subscription to our e-newsletter, TALK, a professional journal focused on the Enneagram in the Narrative Tradition, and have access to a variety of advanced education and networking opportunities, as well as discount rates to the annual conference.
Donations for specific projects or donations made to the EANT Scholarship Program are tax-deductible.
