What we do

EANT is an international association for people who have studied the Enneagram in the Narrative Tradition and who use it in business, educational, therapeutic, personal development and spiritual arenas.

Our mission is to take the Enneagram to the world, with strong ethical standards, using the Narrative Tradition of people speaking for themselves and the integration of spiritual and psychological work for self-development.

We intend to create a strong, diverse, international community that facilitates members’ ongoing learning and development.

We began as a grassroots effort, founded by Janet Levine in 1993, in cooperation with Helen Palmer and David Daniels, M.D., to support participants and graduates of the Enneagram Professional Training Program. The first annual international conference was held in 1996. AET was designated as a nonprofit corporation in 2000, and now has more than 400 members worldwide. See history.

Thanks to many volunteers who generously contribute their time, talents, expertise and financial resources, AET provides numerous benefits at a minimal cost to members. For only $50 annually, members also receive an electronic subscription to TALK, a professional journal focused on the Enneagram in the Narrative Tradition, and have access to a variety of advanced education and networking opportunities.

Donations for specific projects or donations made to the AET Scholarship Fund are tax-deductible.
