OPENING FOR JOY | JOIN US! EANT CONFERENCE 2012
— By Sandra Smith, 2012 Conference Chair, and Certified Teacher in the Narrative Tradition
Author and Poet Wallace Stevens coined the phrase,
“…Our passion for yes!”
Perhaps joy drives this passion for yes and our delight in life. We hope that you’ll check the “yes" box for attending this fall’s conference as we explore how each of the Enneagram types wears the garment of joy. Don’t miss out as our community gathers, October 18-21, to be curious about joy and the Enneagram of Harmony.
Opening our conference on Thursday evening will be the high energy group, Joy of Motion Youth Dance Ensemble. Since 1976, Joy of Motion Dance Center has served as a leader in dance education in the greater Washington, DC area and is one of the top dance ensembles in the country. Planning Circle member Jude Marston is working with this group to customize their performance to our theme and Enneagram work. We are quite excited that this group will be with us.
Our time together continues with Helen and David’s presentation on the Enneagram of Harmony and panels of the Harmony Triads. Terry and Marion will add their knowledge and expertise to the topic and “flesh it out” a bit more with panelists. Renée Rosario, Gerry Fathauer, Pamela Michaelis, Sharon Rudy, Fred Boykin and Joan Ryan have exciting presentations to offer from their areas of expertise. See descriptions of their presentations on our website.
Make your conference reservations now and join us for a time of conversation, movement, insight and learning. You can register for the conference online and with great ease, thanks to the work of Suzanne Dion (our Board Member and Webmaster)!
