Another Way To Support our Scholarship Programs! Donate to the EANT Annual Conference Raffle

— By Barbara Ohlendorf, , EANT Scholarship Committee Member

As many of you know, each year at the EANT Annual Conference we host a raffle and live auction to raise money for the EANT Scholarship Program. This fund allows eligible applicants from around the world to receive training in the Enneagram in the Narrative Tradition, who otherwise would not be able to attend. In the last few years, we have seen the number of applications steadily increase from an average of 9 to 10 a year to almost 36! We have awarded funds to well-deserving individuals in Ethiopia and South Africa as well as from communities in the U.S. such as LaCrosse, WI; Tempe, AZ; and Hillsborough, NC.

Our goal at this year's conference is to match and even exceed last year's donations. As a member of EANT -- and perhaps also a Conference attendee -- would you be willing to contribute an item to this year’s raffle or live auction? The types of items donated are limited only by your imagination. In the past we've featured:

  • framed works of art and photography

  • books

  • wine

  • jewelry

  • hand-knit scarves and shawls

  • certificates to training programs

  • stays at vacation homes and hotels

  • Enneagram-related DVDs and books

  • international items like tablecloths and handbags

  • and the list goes on...

Last year we raised just over $6,200 with half that amount raised from the live auction alone!! This year so far, donations to our raffle have been healthy, but we especially need a few more items for the live auction. This has been a lively and fun event in the past where we have auctioned off training certificates, vacation homes, stays at hotels, and so on. So if you have an idea or a lead for something that can be included in the auction, please let me know!

Your donation is tax-deductible, and you will get a receipt of your donated item for your tax records. Your donation(s) will be greatly appreciated by raffle winners and future scholarship recipients alike.

If you’d like to donate to this year's raffle, please contact me either by phone 530 756 5420 or by email.

In addition, if you are interested in serving on the Scholarship Committee, we are actively seeking new members to our team. Please contact the co-chairs, Gina Thomas and George Gordon at
